I grew up in Aurora, Utah. I attended North Sevier High School where I played girls soccer and participated on the swim team. I was also President of the National Honor Society, President of the Math Club, Student Body Publicity Manager, Senior Class Secretary/Treasurer, and a member of the FCCLA. I graduated Valedictorian of my senior class and continued my education at Utah Valley University. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics Education. Soon after I married Peter Vander Wilt and we made our home in Orem, Utah. We have two incredible little boys, Easton and Levi. I recently started my Masters Degree in Mathematics Education in January 2018.
Some of my favorite things to do are: spend time with my family, enjoy the great outdoors, scrapbook, read, swim, ride bikes, and of course teach math. My favorite food is Chicken Alfredo and bread sticks. I hate waking up in the morning and love listening to loud music in the car. This is my sixth year teaching at Timpanogos High School and I love every minute of my job. I am excited to get to know you and have you in my class this year! I look forward to having fun and learning all I can from you. I expect that you will do your best at everything you do. Together I feel that we can create a welcoming learning environment and have many successes this year. |
